Hi Markus!!
I completely agree with your message below, for I've caught
myself saying that "I'm in this small 20 minute indie thing," etc.
It's something we all have to be aware of. When I saw you at The
Drama Book Store in NYC this past April, I believe I mentioned that
I am also a pro-photographer making most of my money from weddings,
and, I also do black and white street photgraphy as my personal
work/fine art. Well I've noticed that when I speak of my
photography, I don't use that type of language, for I'm proud of my
photo work, and I make more of a living from the photography vs
"the biz". As a multi-disiplined artist, I have to be aware that I
"work" in both fields, and shouldn't rank them according to
income. A cliche', but it's not about the cash, it's about the
journey. Thanks for a great book!!
