I was the Galway guy at your talk this evening in the Drama Bookshop in New York Markus. Thanks for your words and genuine easy positivity. I have just moved here from Ireland and am sorting out my green card at the moment...what a system. I have always believed and taught (I sometimes give a business of acting class in Galway) that it is a people business and wee should see ourselves as equals to the big execs and directors etc. I am a believer in looking em in the eye in as a genuine collaborator and colleague essential to the process. I too have found that people wax lyrical about how hard the business is. I have found that it is as dificult as we make it and provided we have faith in our talent as it stands, our experience and our good judgement we should always consider the door to our success wide open. I am moving agents at the moment as I said at the meeting and appreciate your advice to just lay it bare to them. Thanks. I am in New York till May and return to Ireland for a few months for a play but hope to make a fair honest go of it in this great acting country. Best of luck with the book. Actors working for actors should be well rewarded and I trust`that my enlightened colleagues will ensure you need a new printing soon. (God that was long :)
